Quiet Storm Solutions is a marketing solutions company with a client base spread across all sectors and all sizes. Quiet Storm has over 20 years’ experience of finding the right solution, in whatever media, for whatever purpose; marketing, paper and print, web and internet, exhibitions, events, videos and presentations – a one-stop-shop for marketing solutions.

Outline of job role and purpose

We are looking for a proactive online support assistant that can provide high levels of support to the Online Team’s Support Manager, taking on a number of responsibilities related to providing extensive and wide ranging levels of customer support using a comprehensive range of communications media – you’ll need a fluent knowledge of spoken and written English for use in both distance and face to face situations, some training experience would be desirable to support our clients in using their content management systems and it would be particularly useful if you have some knowledge and experience of working in an IT support environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills; fluent written and spoken English is essential to communicate effectively with our clients on technical issues.
  • Commitment to high levels of customer service and quality
  • Excellent telephone manner 
  • Ability to work within set guidelines and set schedules but be able to respond effectively to changing priorities and pressures 
  • Demonstrate effectively an ability to solve problems and find solutions under own Initiative 
  • Outstanding attention to detail 
  • Knowledge of the Internet 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Word & Outlook) 
  • Must work well as part of a team 
  • Willingness and ability to engage in further development and training

Desirable Requirements:

Knowledge and experience in the following areas would also be beneficial.

  • HTML and CSS coding
  • Graphic design software (particularly Photoshop)
  • Project management experience

Main duties to include: 

  • The post-holder’s key responsibility is to respond to wide-ranging day-to-day support emails and telephone calls from clients 
  • Delivery of face to face and telephone training to new and existing clients to use our content management system 
  • Overseeing some elements of website production 
  • Registration and renewal of domain names 
  • Undertaking server back ups

This role is subject to a broad range of smaller tasks and activities which fall within the remit of this position, therefore the candidate must be entirely flexible and adaptable in their approach to their day to day workload.
