Construction materials rebrand reaches its pinnacle The Breedon Group is one of the UK’s leading construction materials suppliers, producing cement, aggregates, asphalt and ready-mixed concrete for use in a wide range of industries. It offers products, systems, maintenance and repairs for a wide range of fluid control applications. Quiet Storm has worked with ProMinent ® on several projects over the years, and we were tasked with helping it support the launch of two major new initiatives. These were its new PromCare ® service and maintenance package for clients and its new ‘plug and play’ Duty System UK (DSUK) metering safety solution. These two new ventures represented significant new opportunities for ProMinent ® . We worked with ProMinent’s team to scope out both projects, understand the requirements, define the messaging, develop marketing collateral and bring the products to market. Wes Sutton, ProMinent ® UK’s Managing Director, said: “We’ve worked with Quiet Storm for several years and have always been impressed by the way they help us to understand and communicate better with our target audiences. “Our PromCare ® and DSUK products are major initiatives for us which will further establish our position as the UK market leader, and take the business to the next level.” In January 2020, it acquired around £178m of assets from CEMEX, in a move which strengthened Breedon’s regional footprint in the UK. The acquisition was subject to an investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), which instructed that the assets should be held separately from Breedon until its conclusion. So, Breedon created a ring-fenced business, Pinnacle Construction Materials, offering a comprehensive range of heavy building materials and contracting services, from around 100 sites across the UK. We worked closely with a small project team at Pinnacle to develop a new logo and visual identity before producing physical signage for all sites across the UK, along with branded livery for the company’s fleet of construction vehicles. We also coordinated an email marketing campaign to inform existing customers of the change and created a new brochure website. Steve Jacobs, Pinnacle’s former Head of Communications, said: “As always, the team at Quiet Storm were extremely efficient and professional.” An online presence on the rise Rise and Recline is a specialist furniture manufacturer based in Long Eaton, the upholstery capital of the UK. It manufactures hand-made, bespoke ‘rise and recline’ chairs, sofas and adjustable beds with unsurpassed quality, attention to detail and superior customer service. Quiet Storm has worked on several projects with Rise & Recline in recent years, and in 2020, we were appointed to help create a new website and CRM system to streamline its backend operations and enhance its online presence. The bespoke, SEO-focused website we developed provides visitors with an overview of Rise & Recline’s entire product range. The website also includes an online reseller portal, which integrates with the CRM we developed and provides functionality for pricing and discounts, product naming, and an online ‘chair builder’ that gives resellers the ability to construct a chair to the specific requirements of their customers An instant PDF quote linked to the ‘chair builder’ can be created and issued. Rise & Recline Managing Director John Lougher said: “The advice, guidance and support we got from Quiet Storm at every stage of this project was exceptional.” Enrych is a registered charity that empowers people living with a disability across Derbyshire and Leicestershire to live active and independent lives. It provides leisure and learning opportunities and one-to-one support to adults living with physical or learning disabilities or poor mental health and those who are socially isolated. As a local charity based in our home village of Whitwick, it approached Quiet Storm for help in redeveloping its existing website to give it a more significant online presence and more control of its content. We were tasked with creating a new website design to reflect Enrych’s visual identity and values, promote the services it delivers and help raise awareness of its activities. Enrych CEO Liz Rickaby said: “Our new website has made an enormous difference to the way we present ourselves online and has helped increase our visibility. Having a clean, modern, and easy-to-navigate website also increases our credibility and makes it much easier for our members to access the support they need.” Enriching new website for disability charity
