Helping HCC share its message The North East and Yorkshire Haemoglobinopathy Coordinating Centre (HCC) for sickle cell anaemia is led by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. Guiding towards a brighter future Quiet Storm is a proud longstanding supporter of Hospice Hope, which supports people with life-limiting conditions across North West Leicestershire. We’ve worked with Secure Retail on several projects over the years and were recently tasked with creating custom graphics for its exhibition stand to promote its brand at events including the Retail Technology Show. Secure Retail was looking to make a massive impact at events by showcasing how its products can be used to help retail, leisure and hospitality businesses improve their customer experience. We sourced appropriate stock imagery, took pictures of Secure Retail’s hardware, then created the composite images in our studio, which the stand builder could incorporate into the overall stand design. Lorraine Marriott, Secure Retail’s Marketing Communications Manager, said: “We were delighted with the creative concept Quiet Strom came up with for our stand visuals. They took care of everything from sourcing the right imagery to setting up the product photography and then art working it in Photoshop so it looked perfect when blown up to full size on the stand.” Quiet Strom has worked on several major NHS web projects, so when the HCC was looking for a new online platform to share resources with patients and healthcare professionals, we were recommended by the local NHS Trust. We created a simple brochure website with an intuitive navigation structure and clear user journeys for patients and healthcare professionals. It has dedicated sections containing information about the HCC, its services and locations, along with a secure password- protected education portal for registered users. Its content management system is easy to use, meaning the HCC’s admin team can quickly add new content and information to the site as it becomes available. HCC Operational Manager Shana Jae Newman said: “We worked closely with the Quiet Storm team to develop the new website and are delighted with the results. Reaction to the site has been extremely positive. It is a great resource for anyone who wants to know more about our work.” The charity offers a wide range of services across the community to people diagnosed with conditions that reduce their quality of life. Later this year, it plans to rebrand as Bright Hope ahead of moving into its new purpose-built headquarters and day centre, near Swannington. As part of the rebrand project, we worked closely with charity administrator Jane Hagreen, its management team, and the board of trustees to develop the new name, brand and visual identity. We produced an enhanced brand guidelines document which sets the visual framework and imagery for the brand’s rollout in the months ahead. Jane Hagreen said: “We’re so grateful for the partnership and incredible work that the Quiet Storm team has done for us over the past 13 years. For the rebrand project, they guided us through the process of reimagining our name, purpose and identity with creativity and strategy that left us feeling inspired and excited for the next chapter.” Pollution Solution is a UK-based air quality technology business. It works with local authorities and employers to reduce air pollution and ensure compliance with legal air quality standards, to help significantly reduce human exposure to pollutants and improve people’s quality of life. Its core product, Roadvent, captures toxic vehicle emissions before they reach roadside pavements and buildings. It’s a simple solution with a complex system sitting behind it, and the client needed help explaining it easily. They tasked us with producing a short corporate video to explain what Roadvent is, how it works and the benefits it brings. It can be viewed online at www.roadvent.com . Pollution Solution founder and CEO said: “Roadvent has the potential to improve and save lives, and the explainer video, which has pride of place on our website homepage, helps us carry that message.
