It provides a full spectrum of professional services from offices in Leicester and Brighton. It works across a wide range of industrial sectors, from civil engineering, transport and road safety to flood risk & drainage, street lighting and geo-environmental. We’ve worked with M-EC over several years, and we’re tasked with giving its brand and website a refresh to better reflect the business, it’s values and the markets it serves. The firm has had the same branding and online presence in-place for several years and hadn’t undergone a major branding exercise for some time. We worked with its senior team to deliver a full brand workshop to educate the client on what branding means, understand the thought process behind good branding and gain a better understanding of the business and its unique selling points. We then developed and rolled out a full branding package, along with a mobile optimised, fully responsive new website. Managing Director Eddie Mewies said: “The insight Quiet Storm gave us into what our new brand needed to reflect was invaluable.” A prominent solution ProMinent Fluid Controls UK is a specialist metering, water treatment and chemical fluid handling solutions provider. Rising to the exhibition challenge Rise & Recline is a specialist furniture manufacturer based in Long Eaton, the upholstery capital of the UK. It manufactures hand-made, bespoke ‘rise and recline’ chairs, sofas and adjustable beds with unsurpassed quality, attention to detail and superior customer service. Quiet Storm has worked on several projects with Rise & Recline in recent years. Earlier this year, we were tasked with creating its exhibition materials for NAIDEX, Europe’s largest trade show for solutions that support independent living. It was the first exhibition the firm had taken part in since the start of the pandemic, and also marked the debut of its new brand identity, which Quiet Storm developed. We did all the design and print for Rise & Recline’s exhibition stands and marketing materials, including sales binders to help its reps demonstrate its new product offering. Rise & Recline Managing Director John Lougher said: “This was the first time we had physically showcased our new brand to the trade, so it was crucial we made the right impression. “The advice, guidance and support we got from Quiet Storm to make this happen was exceptional.” The David Wilson Foundation is a registered charity aimed at supporting individuals, groups and community organisations across the East Midlands. It was established in 1995 by residential developer Wilson Bowden plc founder David Wilson CBE, to support schemes which build skills and confidence to help people reach their full potential and enrich the lives of others. We were tasked with upgrading the charity’s website to hone its message, simplify the way applications are submitted and processed, and promote its aims to a wider audience. As well as enhancing the design and navigation of the website to create a simpler user journey, we also created new content to reflect the foundation’s vision and values and encourage more applications. Sophie Wilson, David Wilson’s granddaughter, said: “Our new website really reflects who we are and what we stand for, which has helped increase our visibility and credibility, and makes it much easier for our people to access the information and support they need.” A charity portal built on a solid foundation It offers products, systems, maintenance and repairs for a wide range of fluid control applications. Quiet Storm has worked with ProMinent on several projects over the years, and we were tasked with helping it support a major new initiative. Its new CDUK chemical handling safety solution represents a significant opportunity for ProMinent. The new system is powered by smart devices and links to the cloud to enable users to precisely monitor and control their chlorine dioxide pumps remotely. We worked with ProMinent’s team to understand their requirements, define the messaging, design and create the marketing collateral and support the product launch. Wes Sutton, ProMinent UK’s Managing Director, said: “Our CDUK system is an innovative solution which will help take our business to the next level and further establish our position as the UK market leader, and take the business to the next level. “We’ve always been impressed by the way the Quiet Storm team helps us to understand and communicate better with our target audiences.”
