It produces cement, aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, Welsh slate and specialist concrete and clay products, and offers a range of contracting services. Quiet Storm is a longstanding partner of the Breedon Group and we’ve supported it with many projects and solutions over the years. With coronavirus restrictions starting to ease and physical events starting to return, we were tasked with designing and printing new roller banners for the firm, for use at industry expos, networking events and in its offices and reception areas. The new banners reflect Breedon’s latest brand message and values, about making a material difference, and the positive impact its operations are having in communities across the UK. Linda Lawrence, PA at Breedon Group, said: “Our new banners look amazing and really reflect the look and feel of our refreshed brand.” Quiet Storm Director Phil Megson added: “While we specialise in creating smart digital solutions to help our clients develop and grow, we still do ‘bread and butter’ print work like roller banners, flyers and brochures.” Ashfield Community Enterprise is a social enterprise run by volunteers who pass on their skills in woodwork to the next generation. It operates a small recycling centre, which upcycles old items for furniture and takes old wood and pallets and furniture to make new garden benches, planters and bird tables, bird boxes and hedgehog boxes. It also runs regular events and workshops giving residents the opportunity to learn new skills, take part in community activities and discover more about traditional woodworking techniques. We were tasked with developing a new ecommerce website for Ashfield Community Enterprise, to give it a platform to sell the furniture and other wooden products it produces to help raise vital funds to support the organisation. Teresa Jackson, Ashfield Voluntary Action Manager, said: “This is the second website Quiet Storm has produced for us and we’re really impressed by the results. As a charitable organisation, we don’t have much in-house expertise when it comes to IT and websites, so having a team like Quiet Storm to support us and deliver what we need is crucial to supporting the projects we deliver.” Chipping in with new ecommerce store
