Streamlined approach for aviation business

Weston Aviation arranges private jet charter and cargo aircraft charter from its head office in the Midlands and operates Business Aviation Centres at two regional airports – Durham Tees Valley and Newquay Cornwall.

Director Nick Weston said: “I wanted to bring our three businesses together under one brand. I was carrying around three different business cards but all our services relate to charter and aircraft handling. Simplification was needed as well as one corporate image.

"Quiet Storm have been able to offer us a complete service. They are friendly and approachable and the technical language is kept to a minimum. They took time to understand what we wanted to achieve and have led us through the process. They see the long-term aim for everything we are trying to do.

“The first priority was a company logo. We were presented with a few options, chose our preferred one and then proceeded to have business cards and stationery printed.

“Streamlining our web presence was the biggest challenge. We had three different websites and a number of domain names. The knowledge and expertise at Quiet Storm has been invaluable. They have created a new Weston Aviation website that incorporates the three areas of our business. The overall image is really strong and we are still able to clearly differentiate between jet charter, cargo services and FBO handling. The site also features a download section, fast quote service, and ‘call me back’ option. These features enable us to capture information for our data base. We use MailBlast in conjunction with the database to keep in touch with our customers and contacts. Quiet Storm created a MailBlast template for these emails so it is a very simple process for us.

“Previously we had lacked the ability to edit our websites. Our new site has an easy to use content management system and we can add news, update aircraft availability and change text whenever we want.

“Quiet Storm also created an exhibition pack for us in time for an important show in Geneva. This includes a 3 metre x 3 metre pop up stand with lectern and two of our old pull up banners have been re-skinned with the new branding.

“Promoting one brand over a wider market was definitely the right move and has already led to new business.”
