Council's corporate identity redesign saves £1000s!

Changing your corporate identity always costs money in the short term, but the precise amount that an identity contributes in the long term to the wealth of a company or organisation is often impossible to measure. Not so for North West Leicestershire Coucil - since Quiet Storm Solutions created their new corporate identity they have actually been saving money.

The brief for a new corporate identity was based upon several factors; the key one being the need to associate the council with The National Forest and regeneration in the area.

Deputy Chief Executive Phil Ellis explained: "Having explained our basic ideas to Quiet Storm they produced something on which everyone here instantly agreed.

"Quiet Storm also pointed out that in changing our identity and using white vehicles available 'off the shelf' we would save the £500 it was costing the council to custom paint each vehicle.

"We have used the services of Quiet Storm  for over fourteen years and they consistantly look beyond our initial brief and provide a variety of alternative solutions to accomplish our objective.

"We now have a distinctive logo that is easy to reproduce and is now seen on every vehicle, printed item and electronic communication we use. We are delighted."
