Global petrolium company needed digital printing solution and worldwide distribution

Singapore, Portugal and New Zealand... before the client's deadline!

Caltex Corporation is a wholly owned Chevron Texaco oil company. Caltex is the face of Chevron Texaco in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia.

Caltex Engineering's 'Effective Project Management' - the 150-page document was produced from a PDF document created by Computerstream the specialists in PDF management and document archiving.

Quiet Storm were able to produce a 'one off' sample of the booklet for approval which enabled Caltex to see exactly what the finished product would look like. Once the go-ahead had been given 200 copies were printed.

They were finished, wiro bound, gloss laminated on the outer cover, packaged and delivery across the globe was organised . Our location close to East Midlands Airport makes this quick and easy for us to achieve.

Hugh Crowther, who project-managed the work on behalf of Caltex Engineering, said: "Quiet Storm handled this non-standard format production to a tight schedule and high degree of accuracy.

"I appreciated how they integrated seamlessly with the pre-press process. This made it very easy for me to manage this project and deliver the product to my client under time and on budget."

Digital print was added to the Quiet Storm in-house portfolio just over a year ago and has helped to secure several contracts including work from the NHS, LG Electronics and NWLDC. It enables us to deliver rapidly, fulfil requests for small print runs - as there's no minimum - and we maintain control from start to finish.
