Financial presentation for LSE listed company works for city firm

Investor relations are key to all companies and particularly those that are LSE-listed.

Professional presentation of Interim and Year End results, as you would expect, is important to them - future financing and share prices depend upon these figures. What many people also expect is that such companies will use City-based organisations to undertake this work for them.

Not so with Dataflex, designer and manufacturer of innovative access solutions for telecom service providers in the telecom sector. Dataflex has employed Quiet Storm to create reports and PowerPoint presentations at Year End and Interims for several years now.

"Where Quiet Storm is based is irrelevant," said Dataflex Finance Manager Ken Hunt. "Whoever we used would receive our information electronically. We operate on a global basis and so distance is no object."

Quiet Storm had been used by Dataflex's then Marketing Manager for several jobs, and when the finance department decided it needed a company to help with financial reporting Quiet Storm was recommended.

"They had always met our objectives and we liked the flat structure of the company so we decided to let them have a try at our financial presentations," Ken Hunt says.

"From the outset we liked the accessibility of the staff and we very much appreciate the responsiveness. You can ring at any time and speak to someone who can help. It is very reassuring.

"It worked for us the first time and it works for us now."
