LG Electronics event increases revenue and builds relationships

Having set the brief for an event targeting the independent sector the LG marketing department invited five agencies to present. With a budget of £220,000 Quiet Storm were challenged to create an event with the sole intention of increasing LG's business within the independent sector.

Working in partnership with Derby-based myb events, Quiet Storm Solutions beat five London agencies to win the contract.

The day was an excellent mix of business and pleasure - presentations and product showings were part of it, but golf, corporate hospitality, quad biking and after-dinner entertainment featuring Bobby Davro and Kenny Lynch were also on offer.

Quiet Storm and myb were responsible for every aspect of organising the event - from the design and issue of invitations to
on-line registration, creation of PowerPoint presentations
incorporating video and the booking of all venues, entertainment and catering. Even the delegate feedback: Delegate comments included; they had found it easy to learn about new products; it was good meeting different people within LG; and when asked if they planned to purchase further LG Electronics goods as a result of the corporate day - 89% of delegates said yes!

"Quiet Storm and myb events thought outside the box and presented several strong ideas for our corporate event.

"They were thorough in their research, dynamic in their presentation and although the competition from the other event companies was strong, they provided us with the excitement and confidence, resulting in a unanimous decision to go with their proposal." Lorna Finch, IT Marketing Manager at LG said.

200 guests from around the country attended the LG corporate day - and many of them said they can't wait for the next one!
