A rapid increase in volume of work and a key national exhibition that was just weeks away led Derby-based Esprit Limited to scan the Internet for design and graphics companies in the region
Quiet Storm’s website was one that the firm’s marketing Manager Lesley Young visited as a result.
“I was looking for a company that gave an overall image of professionalism, creativity, and versatility as well as being cost-effective. I liked Quiet Storm’s site and when I mentioned it to a colleague she said she had used Quiet Storm at the Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce and that they had done a really good job there,” Lesley explained.
Following both a demerger and an acquisition Esprit had a new look and a new feel. The company develops software solutions which enable separate departments and business units in the public sector to share information and to deliver improved services without the typically prohibitive costs of replacing established information systems and databases.
Consequently a presence at the Online Information Exhibition at Earls Court, Olympia which is targeted at Public Sector, Library, Information Centre and Higher Education influencers and decision-makers was very important to Esprit.
The exhibition was just three weeks away when Lesley contacted Quiet Storm, but as she explained this was not a problem. “Quiet Storm took our issues on board with an incredible calm and efficiency and left me in no doubt right from the start that everything was going to be okay.
“Not only did QS manage to take the look and feel and work successfully with our exhibition company to translate these into graphics for our stand, but delivery was on time and within budget. Communications were excellent between us and QS was able to quickly understand and translate my requirements into just what I was looking for,” she added.
“Also, as we are a very small company, we need to watch costs and QS is very competitive in this area and does not seek to add in hidden extras.”
Esprit Limited was so pleased with the work that it has continued to use Quiet Storm - with exhibition presence at the Library Information Show and the GC2004 Expo exhibition held for Government Authorities.
In addition to help with sourcing of photography, design and production and provision of pop up stands for Esprit’s events Quiet Storm is now helping with advertising design.
“The commitment and spirit in which QS has completed work on behalf of Esprit has been excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending the company to my colleagues and business associates.
“I hope to use them in the future for literature design and production so that the quality and consistency in this area can be improved and maintained,” Lesley Young concluded.Back
