Armchair Factory Tour Helps Get Manufactures Message Accross

You can ask your sales team to talk about the key points when they meet with clients, but you have no way of knowing or ensuring that what is said is consistent over time and location or indeed that it highlights the points you wish to make.
 
Applied Energy Products Ltd., manufacturer of the three market-leading brands Creda, Xpelair and Redring, learned from experiences with clients that visited its premises that a factory tour achieved a great deal in terms of the way the company, its products and potential capabilities were perceived.
 
However, with a global clientele, getting everyone to Peterborough wasn’t possible, either for Applied Energy or its clients.
 
Applied Energy realised they needed to take the tour to the clients – using video. This would save clients’ time and allow them to “take” the factory tour in the comfort of their own offices at a time that best suited them.
 
Quiet Storm was approached to undertake the work, taking Applied Energy’s original idea they developed the storyboard and structure and carried out all the filming and editing.
 
The corporate video that was produced was supplied in a range of formats so that Applied Energy could see which method of delivery generated the best response.
 
The company is able to send out the video as a DVD or e-mail attachment and it features on their website (www.applied-energy.com). The sales team have the added flexibility of being able to run the film on their lap tops whilst visiting customers’ premises.
 
Commenting on the corporate video project, Nigel Stanford, Sales and Marketing Director at Applied Energy, said: “Quiet Storm took our original brief and from it created the end product we required”.

Quiet Storm has carried out a number of other projects for Applied Energy Products Ltd., including design and production of a trade price list document, organisation of a sales conference, design and creation of exhibition systems and hosting of the company’s website.
