Brand guidelines and website help project the right image to win business

Having established a fast growing business in mainland Europe IPP Logipal opened their UK&I business as part of their ambitious expansion plans.

The concept is simple; renting pallets to brand owners and manufacturers upon which they can store and deliver their product across the UK's retail supply chains.

Competition in the market was limited with one long-established brand dominating this sector. However the Faber Halbertsma Group already had a number of clients shipping their product to the UK, so IPP Logipal was able to establish a position in the market.

Phil Storer, Managing Director of IPP Logipal UK&I set up the company up in the UK. "We started business based on first class conversations with retailers and with parties interested in using our service. As a new company in the sector we could use the Faber Halbertsma Group's credentials but it quickly became obvious that we needed a strong brand recognition, and a clear message to raise the perception of IPP LOGIPAL as a major player focused on the UK market.

It was initially critical that we quickly worked up our brand message and experience i.e. what we stood for. We then had to consistently tell the world. First on my list was a website. Quiet Storm had been recommended as they had good credentials within our sector. They were very thorough in their approach and caused us to question how we would manage the brand across other marketing materials. As a result we then worked with Quiet Storm to develop brand guidelines for IPP Logipal. This has enabled us to project a very clear and consistent identity across all media. Our initial investment in this work was in itself great value and will be quickly recouped because it included the base artwork templates of everything we are going to need from adverts to vehicle livery. Indeed the work that we did together was so good that we have now rolled it out across our European business.

We work with a wide range of customers, large and small, operating across many industry sectors. The website has provided us with a professional on-line presence . I know from conversations I have had with existing clients and prospects that they have been impressed with our identity and web presence from dealing with IPP Logipal. Most importantly, we are converting this sentiment into strong business growth.

We are now working as a group with Quiet Storm on other web and brand work. It goes without saying that I have been very impressed with the work Quiet Storm have produced on our behalf and their all-round professional approach and advice."
