Shareholders reports sent on brand and on time

“They grasped the brief and absolutely understood what we were trying to achieve. We had a new brand we wanted to get out there and two distinct messages that we wanted to get across. The design of the reports needed to clearly the convey the quality and scale of our assets and the important role that our people play in delivering our business performance. Quiet Storm had the colour pallet and design grid for our brand and worked within the parameters we set. They have now produced two annual reports and one interim report for us and have ensured each time that they demonstrates how our company is developing whilst ensuring that the documents have a consistent feel.

“The reports with their mix of text, numbers, photographs and graphics, look fresh and interesting. Quiet Storm also handled the mail fulfilment element which entailed working with the variable data we supplied. We were very satisfied with how responsive the team were to our needs and with how they ensured that each report was designed, printed and mailed out to meet our required deadlines.”

In creating the A4 size reports Quiet Storm aimed for a clean, well laid out design with a clear focus on Breedon Aggregate employees. The 1,600 copies of the 82 page annual report and 16 page interim report were produced using the high quality litho print process and test runs with the variable data were carried out to ensure accuracy in the mailing element of the project.

Financial reports are an opportunity to reflect a company’s image as well as present facts and figures. Breedon Aggregates and Quiet Storm worked together to create formal documents that also had a strong visual appeal. Readers could gain a thorough understanding of the company’s ethos, aims and objectives as well as its financial position.

As the largest independent aggregates company in the United Kingdom Breedon Aggregates supplies a range of products and services to the construction and building sectors. The company employs more than 800 people across its facilities in Central England, East Anglia, Eastern England and Scotland. The English and Scottish operations function as two autonomous yet fully-integrated businesses.
