Successful workshop speaks for itself – via the power of video

“We are using the video, filmed at our Business One Page Planner launch, on our website. We also email the link to contacts,” explains Ian Rodgers. “It’s proof that people are inspired by the concept and motivated to work with us and improve their business results.

“Quiet Storm filmed the presentation and interviewed delegates afterwards. The result is a seven minute video that conveys the energy of the event and what can be achieved by following the ‘plan’. Glowing testimonials, presented straight to camera, speak volumes. It’s a convincing way of encouraging people to future events.”

The Business One Page Planner (BOPP) is just one of the tools in McGregors’ armoury. Ian Rodgers adds: “We are chartered accountants with a focus on providing value for our clients. We work with them to improve their business, measure results against target and save them tax. BOPP stems from a business advice plan, set out on a sheet of A4, listing goals, drivers and results. We organised an event to introduce the process to business leaders and asked Quiet Storm to capture it on film. We thought it would be a powerful way to engage with our audience to promote BOPP and fill seats at our workshops. We are extremely pleased with the video and its potential to sell our services.”

From Quiet Storm’s perspective the project required a film crew at the event and questions for the delegate interviews. The resulting footage was edited in a way that ensured the enthusiasm for the event was clearly highlighted. A voiceover was added, explaining the event and the BOPP principles. Once the edit was finalised the clip was uploaded to the McGregors website.

With today’s technology, presenting a message via film is a cost effective method of marketing, even for smaller businesses. Quiet Storm’s high quality productions ensure that even complex products and services can be easily understood by potential customers and this leads to increased sales.
