A redefined online presence for Clear Span Buildings

Clear Span Buildings is a leading supplier of temporary and permanent structures for the manufacturing, warehousing, and sports and leisure sectors.
The firm has many years’ experience in advising and implementing the best, most cost-effective solutions for all types of buildings and projects.
Its structures help clients to maximise the use of their existing yard space to satisfy the demands of new or existing contracts requiring additional floorspace, or provide additional state-of-the-art facilities for workshops, production and fulfilment.
It can also create structures to be used as sports halls, community facilities, logistics canopies, education and training buildings, vehicle covers and temporary, portable studios for film and video production.
All Clear Span’s buildings and structures are manufactured in the UK and hold the CE accreditation mark.
They are all designed using the firm’s own cutting edge, in-house structural and detailing software and are supplied with CAD drawings and foundation slab dimension requirements for easy installation.
Clear Span Buildings approached Quiet Storm in 2019 for help in redesigning its website and developing its online presence.

A customer-focused solution

Clear Span contacted Quiet Storm initially as it was looking for a web development partner that was more local to its head office in Ashby de la Zouch, as its previous provider was based in Essex.
We were tasked with rebuilding its new website from the ground up, to make sure that it not only portrayed the company in the right way online but was also better targeted to its customer base.
We were recommended to Clear Span by another client, because we have a vast amount of experience in the temporary buildings sector and understand the marketplace and the customers’ pain points and demands.
As part of the process, we developed a new brochure website which reflects Clear Span’s full range of products and the applications they can be used for.
The site has been optimised for the search engines to make it Google-friendly and help customers find out more about the company and establish its credibility online before making initial contact.
It also gives the admin team at Clear Span greater control of the content and website management, and a better platform on which to build its future marketing activities.

‘Experienced and professional’

John Skinner, Clear Span’s Sales Director, said: “Quiet Storm were recommended to me by a contact as being suitably experienced, professional and able to create a website that would be complementary to the products and the marketplace that we are dealing with.
“They had a very supportive and analytical approach which enabled us to see what they were trying to achieve with this project and how it would meet our requirements.
“Since going live, the new site has given us a bigger profile and a more professional appearance online. It has made it easier for the type of clients that we work with on a regular basis to check us out and ensure that engaging with us is the right thing to do, because the website has fully explained what we can do and how we can help.
“It just helps us to create the right first impression and opens up a lot of potential opportunities for future marketing activities to drive more business on the back of the website going live.”
