We’re delighted to announce that Lewis Combey has been promoted to the role of Quality Services Manager here at Quiet Storm.
Lewis started his career with us on work experience in 2015, before progressing through an apprenticeship and onto our online support desk, where he has become a valuable asset to the business.
Many Quiet Storm clients will know Lewis as he has, for the past couple of years, been one of the first points of call for anyone ringing in requesting work or support.
His latest promotion comes hot on the heels of Tara Reid joining as an apprentice last summer and Adam Kirby completing his apprenticeship to become a full-time member of the online support team.
Lewis will continue to work on a wide variety of projects as well as mentoring both Tara and Adam as they continue their development with us.
He will also be responsible for ensuring that all the projects we complete adhere to our strict quality standards, to ensure they continue to help our clients achieve their marketing and sales objectives, while keeping their data secure and their systems compliant.
Lewis said: “I’m delighted to have been promoted and am looking forward to the exciting challenges that lie ahead in the next chapter of my career, while continuing to develop solutions which help our clients to improve their processes, people and performance.”
Quiet Storm has a long-standing commitment to developing talented youngsters and giving them the opportunity to forge a career in digital and technology.
Through our strong links with local schools and colleges, we’ve been employing apprentices since 1994 and have developed a training programme which aligns our core skillset as a business with local students.
We give them the opportunity to come into Quiet Storm on work experience. They come into the workplace one day a week over a two-year period, where we help to develop their skills.
At the end of the programme, if they do well, we offer the opportunity to bring them into Quiet Storm on an apprenticeship and into a full-time role at the end of it.
The aim is to create a production line of young people who can come into the business, develop their skills and progress into more senior roles, where they are then given the responsibility of bringing through and mentoring our next intake of recruits.
