Engineering an enhanced online presence

M-EC is one of the country’s leading consulting development engineers. It provides a full spectrum of professional services from offices in Leicester and Brighton.

It works across a wide range of industrial sectors, from civil engineering, transport and road safety to flood risk & drainage, street lighting and geo-environmental.

M-EC provides engineering consultancy services for both private and public sector projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, education and healthcare. It offers a complete, one-stop engineering and environmental solution for anyone at the pre-planning stage or needing construction design services.

We’ve worked with M-EC over several years and were tasked with giving its brand and website a refresh to better reflect the business, its values and the markets it serves.

The firm has had the same branding and online presence in place for several years and hadn’t undergone a major branding exercise for some time.

An enhanced brand

We worked with its senior team to deliver a full brand workshop to educate the client on what branding means, understand the thought process behind good branding and gain a better understanding of the business and its unique selling points.

Branding is not only necessary but essential for any business. In a crowded, competitive marketplace, M-EC is constantly battling against many other companies for their customers’ time and attention, which means it can’t afford not to stand out. Good branding is not only a means of survival but to thriving.

Through the ‘discovery’ process, uncover who M-EC are, what they offer, why they’re a better choice than their competitors, they’re the best choice for their specific audience segments.

Once this work was complete, we were able to develop and roll out a full branding package, along with a mobile optimised, fully responsive new website.

Repositioning the future

Managing Director Eddie Mewies said:

“The insight Quiet Storm gave us into what our new brand needed to reflect was invaluable.

“We’ve built our reputation by being at the forefront of what we do, so needed our brand and website to reflect our business and service offering, our values and how we help our clients, to give us a more substantial digital presence.

“This branding exercise was all about showcasing what we stand for, the solutions we provide and the way we help our customers to think differently so they can achieve what they need from the services we offer, to maximise their return on investment with us.

“We feel our new brand and website does just that and so much more too and helps reposition our business for future success.”
