Product brochure runner up in industry award for best trade catalogue

Quiet Storm designed the 2004 brochure for the company, which is the home of Baby Bio, Phostrogen and Bio products, and it proved to be an award winner.

The document picked up the runner-up title in the Best Supplier’s Trade Catalogue category at the Garden Industry Manufacturers’ Association (GIMA) awards.

pbi had vied for the award in previous years, but without success. Using Quiet Storm as designer for the first time proved a winner.

Lisa Lane, pbi Channel Marketing Manager, said: "When we approached Quiet Storm we were looking for an easy-to-follow format that was more functional than those used previously. We also wanted the brochure to strongly reflect our branding.

"Quiet Storm achieved this brilliantly, creating an easy to use document that made a real impact with its use of colour and excellent photography. We were delighted with it and of course with our success in the GIMA awards."

The success of the 2004 brochure has brought pbi back to Quiet Storm for its successor. As the 2004 document was so well received, the basic ideas have been retained. But Quiet Storm has made some alterations.

"For the 2005 brochure we have made subtle but important changes," Quiet Storm Director Phil Megson said: "We have made greater use of brand colour co-ordination and have also used photography to enhance product use information."
