A website hat-trick for Bosworth Water

Bosworth Water Park is a longstanding Quiet Storm client and our relationship has developed over several years.

Set in 50 acres of glorious Warwickshire countryside, the family-oriented leisure and water park offers camping, caravan and log cabin breaks along with fishing lakes, sailing activities and a Christmas tree farm.

The award-winning park is a year-round destination, with seasonal activities and events designed to entertain the whole family. With the sandy beaches, it’s the ideal place to relax, go paddling or build a sandcastle in the summer months. Halloween activities and firework displays make the autumn something to look forward to, while its Winter Wonderland, with real reindeers and a huge selection of Christmas trees for sale, makes for a memorable festive season too.

A refreshing suite of websites

We built Bosworth Water Park’s original website several years ago, but as technology has moved on, it had become outdated and in need of a refresh.

We were tasked with redefining its online presence to showcase its brand, better reflect the distinct customer propositions it offers, and ensure the business could be found online across multiple devices and operating platforms. Rather than rebuild just one website, we created three fully mobile-responsive websites, each representing a different area of the business.

These were the main Bosworth Water Park site at www.bosworthwatertrust.co.uk, along with www.friezelandpools.co.uk to promote its carp fishing lakes, and www.christmas-tree-farm.co.uk to promote its ‘pick your own’ Christmas tree business.

All three sites were fully optimised for the search engines to give maximum visibility, as well as linked to their own dedicated social media channels. As well as giving information and updates about all the facilities, events and attractions of offer, the main Bosworth Water Park site also includes an ecommerce booking module to enable visitors to plan, book and pay for their holiday online.

The Christmas Tree Farm site, meanwhile, includes a gallery of customer images as well as ‘how to’ guides and information about picking, decorating and storing the perfect Christmas tree.

An ‘amazing’ solution

Bosworth Water Park owner Toby Ryley said:

“We’ve worked with Quiet Storm for a number of years and have always been amazed by the solutions they create for us. Our business is split into very distinct areas with different customer profiles for each and we wanted our online presence to reflect this.

“Quiet Storm understood this brief and have delivered us a suite of new websites which really get across the essence of each individual strand of the business to entice customers to come and pay us a visit. A lot of our business is seasonal, but it’s absolutely crucial that we have a presence all year round so people can plan their visits and keep up-to-date with what’s going on here.

“Our new websites give us the platform to keep in touch with our various customer bases, as well as provide a warm welcome to any new visitors who find us online.”
