Branding key to success of new business venture

But while they are experts in producing the goods, Phil Newcombe admitted they were all completely lost when it came to the visual communications aspect of setting up the business.

Kay Newcombe had employed Quiet Storm to produce a brochure for her bed and breakfast accommodation in the past and got on well with them. The couples did invite other designers to tender for the new work, but Phil said none of them could match Quiet Storm.

The logo was the key piece to the campaign, and Philip said they are all delighted with the fresh, colourful churn-shaped imagery that Quiet Storm has created for Lubcloud Farm, the name under which the products will be marketed.

The finishing touches are now being put to business cards, labels and stationery for the new venture.

Not only are the labels attractive, Quiet Storm has created a design enabling Lubcloud to overprint product and dating details, thus saving them time and on-going print costs.

"We are really pleased with Quiet Storm’s work and are now looking forward to launching the Lubcloud Farm organic range," Phil Newcombe concluded.
