Fashion Fabrics new responsive website showcases capability and credibility

With the fashion sector coming under increasing scrutiny for ethical sourcing and transparent supply chains, Leicester based manufacturer Fashion Fabrics made the decision to launch their first website.

Leading the way in ethical solutions

Fashion Fabrics Group encompasses Fashion Fabrics Transprinters Ltd, Midland Screenprinters Ltd and Colours Dyers (UK) Ltd. Their client base includes many of Europe’s leading clothes retailers. Having so many resources within the group gives them a real edge within the highly competitive world of fashion garment manufacturing.

Here’s what Group CEO Ismail Ahmed, had to say about why they have launched their new website…

Each of our businesses stand on their own two feet and have a highly talented management team in control. However, as a group we are able to target the larger retail fashion brands and provide a manufacturing solution few can match. From making the garment material, dyeing, printing, finishing and making the finished garment - all here in the UK. We can also manufacture in our overseas factories. This means our customers get very short lead-times, critical in fashion; combined with low cost overseas manufacturing where and when needed.

Our customers now look for evidence of our capability

There are many unscrupulous manufacturers who continue to provide a shop window which appears to demonstrate that they do everything in-house. The challenge the high street retail fashion brands face when selecting a supplier is the assurance the whole supply chain is ethical. With high profile tabloid exposures of fashion brands using child labour in the manufacture of their garments, end-to-end traceability has become of paramount importance.
