Adding a touch of glitz and glamour to the Chamber Business Awards

East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) is the leading business organisation in the East Midlands region, providing a voice to more than 4,300 member businesses.

From start up to scale up and local to global, the Chamber is renowned across the region for enhancing Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire businesses and communities.

Its activity is so diverse and multifaceted that thousands of businesses from across the East Midlands and beyond put trust in the Chamber to help their businesses flourish and grow – irrespective of size, sector or location. Members benefit from a wide range of business support services from lobbying and campaigning, helping businesses realise their international trading ambitions, showcasing and market-making activities to workforce training and development.

Quiet Storm has been a proud partner and patron of the Chamber for many years, so we were delighted to once again lend our support to its annual celebration of business success.

Supporting the region’s premier business awards scheme

We worked with the Chamber to design and produce all the collateral for its 2019 Chamber Business Awards campaign. The Chamber Business Awards are the region’s most prestigious celebration of business, showcasing the success of businesses of all sizes from across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. They offer members a fantastic way to raise the profile of their businesses. They are the only awards in the region that offer winners a chance to progress through to the regional and national heats of the British Chambers of Commerce Awards.

Whatever the size of their business, all Chamber members have a chance to win an award and the benefits are profound and wide ranging. This year’s awards culminated in gala celebration dinners in each of the three cities in September, where the winners were announced. To support the awards, we designed and produced a host of digital and printed marketing materials, including adverts, digital content, flyers, event brochures and branding at the venues.

We worked closely with the Chamber’s in-house marketing team to develop a strong visual identity for this year’s campaign, which evolved the existing business awards branding, before carrying this design across all the marketing materials we produced.

We also coordinated the print and logistics of the materials to ensure they were delivered on-time at all the venues to ensure the events went off without a hitch.

Working in harmony

Alison Gray, the Chamber’s Corporate Marketing Manager, said:

“Quiet Storm’s hard work has been much appreciated on this project and our team really enjoyed working with you all to achieve this result. It was a partnership project and the teams worked in harmony to achieve the end result, which made the job that much easier for all concerned.”
