A prominent events presence

ProMinent Fluid Controls UK is a specialist metering, water treatment and chemical fluid handling solutions provider.

It supplies products and systems, while offering maintenance and repairs for ProMinent equipment, for a wide range of fluid control applications, including metering, water disinfection, micro-pollution removal and treating potable (drinking) water, wastewater, swimming pool water, cooling water and utility water.

From its UK base in Leicestershire, it serves clients in the chemical, oil and gas, hotel and leisure, food & drink and public service sectors nationwide. It is part of the ProMinent group of companies, a global market leader headquartered in Germany, which operates in more than 100 countries worldwide and employs 2,600 people.

Quiet Storm has worked with ProMinent UK on several projects, mainly around repositioning its brand and offer to the UK marketplace. On the back of the work we’ve previously done, we were tasked with helping ProMinent make an impact at ChemUK 2022, one of the biggest annual trade shows on the chemical industry’s calendar.

Standing out from the crowd

The two-day ChemUK event took place at the National Exhibition Centre, in Birmingham. It attracted more than 2,800 visitors and 350 from the chemicals, chemical products and chemical-user industries. The event combined an industry expo with a packed agenda of keynote speakers from industry experts, along with high-value networking opportunities.

The ProMinent UK team asked for our support and creative input in developing some event graphics to reflect its brand and service proposition, and help it stand out from the crowd. We created a seamless foamex wall with a timeline of the company’s history and key brand messages. We also left space to integrate an LED screen into the display, showing ProMinent’s corporate video content.

We took care of the whole project, from design and print to delivery, logistics and installation, so ProMinent’s team could show up at the event and focus on engaging with visitors without having to worry about setting things up.
