And an important part of the occasion for both the award nominees and the audience are the audio visual presentations of what these short-listed companies do.
For this year’s event these videos, together with an opening montage, were the work of Quiet Storm’s “On Show” team and featured all 21 finalists short-listed for the seven awards.
Staged at Derby’s Assembly Rooms, the gala evening was organised by myb events. Rebecca Cadman-Jones of myb said: “Quiet Storm did a fantastic job. They had lots of fresh ideas, they met all our deadlines and the videos were very well received.”
Paul Brown, Managing Director of P J Frankland Ltd which won the Small Business of the Year award agrees.
“Our business provides insurance broking and risk management advice to companies so it is not a particularly easy operation to show or make look interesting on film.
“Quiet Storm helped us with every aspect of the filming project and we were very impressed by the finished product,” he said.
